What can a Health Coach do for you?

As a health coach I provide you with the tools and knowledge which allow you to sustain a healthy, nutritious and (most importantly) balanced life. The beauty of looking at your life holistically will enable us to work together on various areas of your life to reduce the overwhelm, crush the cravings and live a life free from fad diets, give you time to appreciate yourself and also those around you.

This is really a gift to yourself - a gift to edit your life to be able to balance all the crazy things that go on and come up unexpectedly.

For a life edit to occur and for you to reap the benefits of this health and wellness programme, you will be guided for 6 months - in which we will tackle your priorities.

I am here for individuals, but I can also see families if certain issues are affecting all the members of a household or even if change is required by all of them - this facilitates the process for everyone.

As a health coach I also offer my services for businesses, to help their HR create a stronger focused view on employee well-being, one which includes emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health. I will be able to provide strategic management advice over wellness and design services and practices to nurture all these facets. Such a position as mine is vital when it comes to handling stresses and managing work-life balance.

What does this 6 month programme involve?

We are going to create a healthy and sustainable lifestyle which you can maintain throughout your life and also tweak as you go!

To be able to give you these life skills and get you to think about preventative care we will be looking at your:

  • relationships

  • career

  • physical activity

  • nutrition

  • spirituality

But how are we going to tackle so much in so little time?

I am here for you, but you have to remember that you have to be here for yourself - it’s You vs. You

I am here to push you and to hold you accountable for the goals that you desire to reach. Now we are all different and we all have very different lives and priorities, so don’t worry all this will be taken into consideration. But you are also here for me to be able to help you, and that’s what I will do my utmost to do. We will be tackling your priorities by first aligning your goals with your life; then breaking down those goals into manageable and practical chunks to be able to implement into your life with more ease - remembering it’s the baby consistent steps that will make a difference in the end. We will be working out a program just for you to be able to reach your top 5 goals within the 6 months, and also pave the way for you to be able to create your own schedules to reach your next goals.

Included in 6 month programme

Bi-monthly 1-1 Coaching Session

Coaching sessions are geared towards working on your specific goals and uncovering areas where you feel stuck.

Monthly Group Coaching Session

This is a great opportunity for you to share your struggles and goal-oriented feedback with people who are going through the same process.

Resources and Tools

Throughout the programme I will be supplying you with materials to strengthen you through your journey. The resources may come in the form of books, handouts, nutrition and self-care materials.

Support Group

When joining Common Routs - Edit you will have access to a private support chat with fellow members going through the same journey. This group will be very helpful between sessions together, if you so wish to participate in it.

How do I prepare for a Health History, and what is it?

Your free Health History session, is our first face-to-face meeting. This a 50 minute session, where we go through your main goals and priorities. Prior to the session I will be sending you a form to fill in with some general information and which you will be able to send back to me before we meet, for me to prepare accordingly. It’s important that this information reach me before we meet so that I do not take up time during the meeting to go through the form.

This is also a great space for us to be able to see if we would like to work with each other. It’s important that we both feel we can do so as this is a 6 month journey and it has to also be a fun one if it is to be one that is sustained!

Other Services

If you feel like you don’t need a 6 month programme, but need some help in 1,2 or even 3 areas of your life, maybe there’s some other way we can be of service.

These services may be done in person or via Zoom, especially if you’re living abroad.

Certified ‘Blended Mental Health First Aider at the Workplace - through Richmond Foundation Malta, as part of the International Mental Health First Aid program 2021.

Group Coaching - €70/month

Group coaching is an opportunity to share and support each other, so these are great sessions if you just need that extra accountability and a listening ear. These groups will always be intimate, with a maximum of 10 participants to make it easier to get to know each other and be comfortable sharing during the sessions. We will be meeting for a session of 2 hours, once a month for 3 months (3 sessions in all) and we will be tackling 1 topic, 1 focus point.

These Group Coaching sessions start in October and end in June. These sessions are for women yet if there is enough interest I will also be adapting them for men, though the groups will always be kept separate.

Mini-life Makeover - €60/HR

This is a mini version of the 6 month programme and is for anyone looking for that nudge, that little push of encouragement to get them going.

The life makeover works especially well for anyone who is finding it hard to integrate a certain physical or medicinal regime into their daily routine. We will be going through the same areas as mentioned above (relationships, career, physical activity, nutrition, spirituality) though not in the same detail as the 6 month programme. We will still make sure to work on your top 5 priorities and create a plan for you to work on to be able to reach within a couple of months. I will also make sure that there will be someone who can hold you accountable for this journey, so that you get through with the support you need.

For more serious cases, or for individuals/families who need more careful guidance and support I would still suggest the 6 month programme.

Pantry/Kitchen Makeover - €50/HR

This is a guided lesson to learn about cleaner options for foods you enjoy.

We will have a look at your pantry and your kitchen layout. Why? Arranging your pantry and also your kitchen cabinets will allow you to efficiently plan and prep your meals for the week/month, so that you have more time to spend doing other things you love!

The makeover may also include a tour of your local supermarket and organic market to introduce you to certain products, which you might want to introduce into your diet.

Supermarket Tour - €50/HR

This is a guided tour through your local supermarket/s and even an organic market.

The aim is to be able to go through the aisles together and look at product labels for the food items you gravitate towards. In this way you make it easier to explore different areas and also gravitate towards them once you start opting for new things to integrate into your diet. When it comes to the market then we can look at the benefits of tasting new fruits and vegetables, and how to cook these or create snacks with them.

You may wish to take this tour after the Pantry/Kitchen Makeover to be able to replenish your pantry with new items.

Declutter Makeover - €50/HR

Decluttering is a big part of creating a calmer and more balanced life. We may sometimes like to believe that we live with “organized chaos” but most of the time it really is just chaos. So though a pinch of chaos is good, you will find that you will mostly benefit from a clear, organized and clean home and work environments. Learning to be more organized, to purge, sort and organize will allow you to get things done quicker, have more time for more important things than cleaning and clearing, but most importantly it will relieve your mind of the clutter too! It will allow you to be energized by the space that you are in!

This is not an easy process, but it will be worth it. We will be there to help you get to your ultimate goal - to sort what needs to be donated, recycled or simply chucked.

Your decluttering makeover is a process that we can help you with throughout your house or simply specific rooms (such as study or kitchen), we will always go over the details in our initial meeting which would happen on-site.

1-1 Listening Sessions - €35/HR

These listening sessions were inspired by the need for deeper listening to one another - so if you find you need the space to talk to someone, without wanting or needing feedback or advice this is for you.

You alone know what you need and where you are at this point in time.
