intuitive fine art

sustaining creativity through surrender

a mother-daughter co-creation

Rooted in our essence as intuitive beings, this mother-daughter co-creation is the practice and presence of allowing and surrendering control.

Always inspired by nature and the waters within and around us, these (mainly) abstract pieces are places to inhabit in and out of time. They are expressions of the wild, feminine, untamed and sovereign being that emerges when we stop doubting our creative sensibility. They are an expression of our story, your story - the personal and the collective, our interconnectedness.

Experiencing art and more so free intuitive art with my daughter has brought me closer to my own practice and to my own intuitive ways - to play and curiosity. It has instilled the importance of these sacred moments of creation and the beauty that is the creative act in itself, the importance of working and creating in movement to integrate the mind-body-soul experience. My love of literature merges with my love of drawing, and there are many moments in which one is reflected in the other, where one influences or motivates the other into being.

This is the listening without listening - knowing without knowing.

created during two eclipse seasons these 3 pieces reveal the layers of life - those we pile on and remove, pile on and remove, pile on and remove; the canvases themselves have gone through and reveal this process as paint was layered on and then scraped off
